Leaving De Queen
We are leaving our camp site in De Queen AK. Gee it only rained 3 days, we are leaving today and there are blue skies outside. Headed towards Oklahoma City.
Lots of fun driving winds blowing about 25 with guts to 35 RV is like a sail driving down the road.
We stopped for lunch and diesel for the RV. I had a Cowboy burger, bacon, onions, BBQ sauce, lettuce plus whatever they had in the kitchen. I also pumped 65 gals of fuel. We are both filled up and ready to go.
We arrived in Shawnee OK. Had a hard time finding the campground the Garmin led us astray. Tried to open the door and the inside handle broke. Great we are lost in Shawnee OK and locked in the RV.
We asked a very nice lady open to the door from the outside and I got tools to make temporary repairs.
We found the Shawnee Arena where we are staying. It looks like we in for a weekend of Barrel Racing the state championship are this weekend. Is it time to Cowboy Up?
